We learn how the business works, what you want the film to achieve and who it needs to reach. We ask the questions that help us work out what belongs in the film and what does not.

We work out who we should follow, what’s actually happening and what might give the story somewhere to go.Then we start filming and see what really happens.Sometimes the plan works. Sometimes something better comes along and you follow that instead. Knowing the difference is a big part of the job.

CRAFT THE FILM

Beautiful cinematography means very little without a story.

Every decision in the film has an intention. How the story begins, what we reveal and when, the pacing, the music, the moments we hold on and the ones we leave out. They all shape how the audience experiences the story. The goal isn't simply to tell people something. It's to make them feel something.
